Buggy Barn Show Close to My House -Excitement in the Country for ALL!

This is just one of the barns in the show...see my witch quilt way up on the Right side of the barn? Fun to see her hanging...soon she will mean more when October hits! Buggy Barn is btween Spokane Washington and reardan Wa-it is close to the Spokane airport if you fly in someday and it is worth the trip....
Here is the "shop" and it is PACKED with people inside shopping. My "Quilter's Retirement Home" quilt is hanging here on the left. It was fun to see it as we drove in...loads of cars and trucks....a really great turnout for the show and beautiful weather too!
A closeup of the quilt hanging on the left side of the barn
What could be better than to have my cow quilts hanging from the barn? They fit in there so well! Reminder-if you would like to do a cow quilt, the pattern is in the Out of the Box with Easy Blocks book AND WE need quilts next APRIL for the AQS show in Des Moines Iowa. We hope to have 30 cow quilt there! There are other shows in the coming year that hope to bring the COW PARADE there also so think of a good theme and play on words for cow, herd, calf, dairy, heffer, veal and make a cow...they sew together in about 2 1/2 hours and then you get to do the fun stuff!
Another View
There were lots of folk art venders of all kinds.  I espcially liked this woman things and the darling crows she did that were covered with silver buttons (sorry no photos)-Isn't this scarecrow cute???
You can't beat crows and pumpkins for Fall.
AND I couldn't help myself, I bought this darling sunflower girl with the cat and the bird and the fence for my front porch. I will probably add polka dots and nail on some buttons before she gets hung. I thought she was quite cute and so did my neighbor Connie who helped me decide to buy it...love those kinds of friends!

We called this "Folk Art Hill" because there were booths and vendors in a large building that sold all kinds of folk art

My Hippie quilt was hanging on the side of a building and overlooking people walking here and there
A detail of my SouthWest quilt...it was hanging high on another barn...I like to get the details
Another detail of my Southwest quilt...
The above block was my pick of the show...I adore any art like this and I think this is adorable! Look at the lamp on the right and it looks like a tomato pin cushion on the table...and I "think that is a bed and a dresser...this is so adorable!
Buggy Barn show is always wonderful and the shop has quilt not only on all of the walls but the ceiling too. Pam and Janet are positive and alot of fun and they provide great inspiration for all quilters!

Wanna Smile? These will do it!

I would love to own this silly pork chop quilt....I saw another one once that said "a horse fell on me today"

Don't you love this pieced background and the good value in this block? Made me giddy
Why would a cat hold her head this way? Silly
And finally I love it when quilters smile-these girls are from my workshops....
I have files of people from my workshops SMILING....I like to share these photos. A smile is the most beautiful thing you can wear and honestly we have so much fun in the workshops that the biggest smile is on my face. Who do you know here? They are from all over.
Emily below from Tazzuti Zoo-she always makes me smile!
Hope you are smiling today and that your cells are brimming with happiness for the many blessings that you have and maybe don't recognize. Love to see something fun and share it with YOU!
