Bringing out your INNER Artist with Creative Ideas

Above- shoe pattern from Out of the Box with Easy Blocks- Below Keako Goki

I am inspired by so many things and I have files and files and files of art I love. I thought I would share some of these wonderful pieces with you to inspire you for the New year. I sincerely hope YOU work towards a story quilt about YOU and who and what you love to leave as a fabric diary. Someone would LOVE to see what you have to share you YOU with the world. I would be thrilled to think you are working towards story quilts! I have a series of workshops I will be giving this year on just story quilts- in California (Two Wacky Women), Madeline Island Wisconsin, Cedar CreekWest Virginia, and Post Falls Idaho in June which is my own retreat.
I hope to meet some of you there as you develop your inner artist and bring her out to show the world who you are and what you can do!
Pretty inspiring right?

I still need to finish mine, just a border and batting, so I should do that next.

  8. Love the color! Great to know you have the shoe pattern in the book. I made a shoe/purse quilt years ago, combining two of your first stand-alone patterns. It was so much fun to make it. Thank you for inspiration, and Happy New Year!
