scroll down a little and see Out of the Box with Easy Blocks! You are there!
If you love easy piecing styles then you will love this book that gives you license to be "OUT of the BOX with Easy Piecing Blocks." Mel McFarland and I worked on the quilts in this book and has alot of fun. We took things we had done before and just stretched them. High heel shoes, FACES,chickens, angels, cakes, handbags, cupcakes, popsicles, easy funky blocks and many other surprises are in this colorful book.
I will be selling it on my website store for $24. this week along with mailing you a fat quarter of colorful fabric and a Mary Lou pin and a Mary Lou postcard (story quilt).
I am proud of this easy and fun book because we are still making these same quilts in wild fabrics and having fun seeing what the new fabrics look like.
We have a coffee set in there that Mel did in black and white strata background and WILD Alexander Henry fabric and it is just outstanding! I will try to find a photo and show you.
All of the measurements and instructions are in there and ready for you to rock and roll!
Oh...this new book looks like so-SEW much fun!! It is right up my alley....EZ! =)

Is it too late to be entered for the purse giveaway. That's just too cute. And just what are the dates for the Galveston show?? I may just have to round up my Houston sister and get there. These are my kind of quilt people. Would you believe I just bought four new purses this weekend?? I just stumbled on some that I just had to have. Kind of a "shoe thing" I guess. Get them while you see them. I haven't bought a new purse in at least ten years. Now I have enough to last til my coffin day. Better tell someone which purse to put in there. I'm so glad you were able to recreate your blog. I believe I got here via the Quilted Pineapple. Just love the dash, the humor, and of course the quilts. What new perspective!!

ReplyDeleteI can hardly wait to get your new book. My first story quilt is a WIP and I am loving how each change I make calls for another!!! Does this happen to everyone??? I have just added our 3 dear departed mini schnauzers to ride in the hot air balloons. Samantha and Taffeta are sitting in front of the gate I always wanted! All the elements are pinned and I am sooo ready to progress, but an allergy attack has slowed this Mimi down! Dr. today so away we go!!!
