Building a Flower garden is great fun!
California is so beautiful and sunny and fun!
Jacarandas are so beautiful! This is one of the few places these live.
Beautiful sunsets over the ocean.

Cool bird houses at the Lab- cool quilt idea!

Iconic street with the palm trees .
Cool sculpture by the ocean!
My dinner. I am on no sugar, no starches, no dairy. Chicken, salad, tomato soup, and beets was a good dinner. Now that I have been doing this a couple weeks I don't miss sugars or breads or even cheese. My energy level is up too. Amazing.
I am still am
Tired aliot and think that this is related to the cancer. The Dr sees me the 21st )surgeon) and I will know more then.
Life is good though and I am always happy to travel and meet new people!
Hope your week is going well and you are thanking God for your blessings, I sure am!

  1. Thank you, Mary Lou, for sharing the lovely pictures today and for your inspiration. Yes, we must always be thanking the Lord for whatever He gives us. Your strength and courage are always an inspiration to me.

  2. Sunshine, flowers, good and healthy food and you..still smiling and spreading joy to others. It's all good.

  3. So good to see you at El Camino. Great trunk show and I bought the moose pattern. LOVE IT! God has you right in the palm of His hand. Blessings to you, Mary Lou. You have a lot of prayers going up for you from all who love you. Have a blessed rest of the week!

  4. So sorry to hear you have breast cancer. Keep in mind the recipes you post are very high in fat and carbohydrate. You said you are on low starch-which is carbohydrate, no sugar so be careful!
