Runaway herd! Make an incredible cow from the new OUt of the Box with Easy Blocks!

These darling cows are done in the "hoochy" style of piecing! So fun, so quick and so easy. This is a quilt, not a block. It is about 38" x 38" and now I am going to add the borders with words so it will be a fun size for my entry hall.
This cow is so fun and so cute and I wish you could see it in person-I still have to put the border and words on......So I am working on another cow with my fabric line and doing a Halloween cow to show you ideas that I will be showing in the west, the midwest and the east this fall! I will get to meet many of you and show you how to get out of the box, how to look at fabrics differentely (to purchase) and how to bring your inner artist out of you and show you that you had secrets in your creativity quotient that you didn't even know! This cow is out of the new book "Out of the Box with Easy Blocks and is an easy quick quilt by itself or if you want to do a story. Believe it or not there are loads if cow stories out there and I have a few of my own to tell about.....It is very "MOOving to make these and   fun!

Thank you to those of you who ordered books from me. It made me smile to see so many wonderful names from the past that were in workshops or that I met through traveling.Plus many new friends ordered and wrote nice notes before and/or after they got their order. I appreciate you and the fact that you order from me, hence the little treats I put in the orders. Thanks for being my friends, I feel very fortunate.

  2. Very cute cow Mary Lou.

Question, is your picture the right way from where you are trying to load it from?

    Maybe that is the problem.

It is still cute even if it is sideways.

  4. Fun cow and more fun upside down, lol. I do that sometimes, hit a setting in my camera by accident and forgot how to fix it.

  6. I've heard of 'cow tipping' but I thought that was a prank for high school and college boys out in the country ;) But heck, your cows are cute any old time!
