Snowflakes are so creative and help with "thinking" as you cut-just like in quilting and crafting!

Above is a snowflake I cut from the program I mentioned in my last post -I posted the link under the Santa photo. I teach a cutting excersize in my story quilt workshop and if you took that you will be way ahead of the game. The snowflake above is birds-but when the colors are exchanged "white" for :blue" it is hard to see them-they are on the border with the wings that form a heart in the negative space. Imagine these in quilts! I am experimenting with this as a technique....stay tuned.
In the meantime, to have fun, use your hand eye coordination, click on that snowflake link and see what YOU can do! It is tereific fun and kind of addictive too!

    I had a site bookmarked to make them with paper and how to cut them to get interesting shapes and figures.
